The California Association of Collectors is the state affiliate (unit) association that represents third party collectors having offices in California. Members of CAC also hold a membership (dual membership is mandatory) with ACA International, which began in 1939 and is headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
A dual membership provides a host of free and low-cost services including insurance, notice review, and industry statistics and publications. The organization has the power and expertise to resolve the issues that confront the industry. Our strength is in numbers and only with the combined efforts of all collection agencies can we be most effective.
